Who we are
We are a passionate team of experienced veterinary professionals with over 17 years of combined teaching expertise who support veterinary practitioners and students as they prepare for the Clinical Proficiency Examination (CPE), improve their surgical skills, and gain hands-on experience in fully equipped operating rooms under expert guidance.
Beyond education, we’re committed to giving back to our community by providing affordable spay and neuter surgeries and essential veterinary services. Through these efforts, we aim to improve animal welfare and make a positive impact on both pets and their families.
Location
Our training program is hosted in a fully equipped veterinary medical hospital in Costa Rica, where you'll gain valuable, real-world experience in a professional setting.
We ensure that you have all the necessary tools and resources to excel in your training.
Additionally, housing is included, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience and dedicate your attention to advancing your skills, without the worry of logistics.

Perla Fallas
DVM (Surgeon & Small Animal Medicine)
I have over 17 years of experience in small animal practice, and have developed a strong passion for veterinary surgery.
As the co-owner of a chain of veterinary hospitals in Costa Rica and an educator, I focus on managing veterinary practices while also preparing students for the Clinical Proficiency Exam (CPE) in surgery and teaching advanced surgical techniques.
I enjoy mentoring both students and professionals, helping them build successful careers in the veterinary field.
In addition to my teaching and entrepreneurial endeavors, I serve as a member of Costa Rica’s Honor Tribunal of Veterinary Medicine, upholding the highest standards of our profession.
Helping my students enhance their surgical abilities and grow in confidence is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.
Daniel Vargas
DVM (Anesthesiologist & Small Animal Medicine Practitioner | Feline Medicine Specialist)
With over 15 years of experience in small animal practice, I have a deep appreciation for every aspect of veterinary medicine and a strong passion for staying up to date with the latest procedures and advancements.
As a co-owner of two veterinary hospitals in Costa Rica, I balance clinical work with teaching, helping veterinarians refine their anesthesia skills—whether they’re preparing for their CPE or simply looking to expand their knowledge. Contributing to their professional growth is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Beyond veterinary medicine, I have a knack for technology and problem-solving, making me the go-to person when it comes to fixing machines or troubleshooting technical issues.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and gaming.
